AskAVideo is provided as a tool for discussing ideas contained in available transcripts of public YouTube videos. Transcript retrieval runs through the user's visible Chrome and YouTube session. The publisher does not receive the complete transcript through the public plugin account service.
Use the product lawfully and respect YouTube's terms, copyright, privacy, and the rights of video creators. Answers may contain mistakes; verify important medical, legal, financial, or safety-related information independently.
The Free plan includes five distinct YouTube videos per UTC calendar month. A video is counted once per month and follow-up questions about that video do not use another credit. Plus includes 100 distinct videos per month for US$9, Power includes 500 for US$19, and a US$5 one-time pack adds 25 non-expiring video credits while the account remains active. Purchased credits are used after the monthly allowance. Taxes may be added at checkout.
Polar is the merchant of record and handles payment, tax, receipts, and subscription billing. Paid subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. You can manage or cancel a subscription using Polar's customer-portal link in your purchase or renewal email, or contact support@getaskavideo.com for help. Cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the paid billing period unless law or Polar's process requires otherwise. Refund requests are reviewed under applicable law and Polar's buyer terms; approved refunds or chargebacks may remove unused purchased credits or paid-plan access.
The separate Evidence Lab beta has different capabilities and access terms. Beta access does not itself create a public-plugin paid subscription, and purchasing public-plugin credits does not grant beta access.
The product depends on ChatGPT, Chrome, YouTube, Polar, and the availability of a video's visible transcript. Features may change or be unavailable without notice. Unused monthly allowances do not roll over.
